About the position

The Senior Product Marketing Manager will lead market engagement strategies for SAS in the healthcare provider, payer, and life sciences markets. This role requires extensive industry knowledge and marketing skills to collaborate with various teams, develop activation strategies, and create unique market positioning. The manager will also drive thought leadership activities and support regional demand generation efforts while ensuring compliance with security policies.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with sales, customer advisory, product management, and other marketing roles to develop activation strategies aligned with industry solutions and growth strategies.
  • Act as a primary spokesperson with external audiences, creating and delivering credible viewpoints to differentiate SAS in the market.
  • Work with sales, field marketing, and product management to enable channel and product readiness.
  • Create and communicate positioning and product marketing plans based on solution/industry domain expertise.
  • Perform market analysis to identify key trends and drivers in health and life sciences, forming viewpoints on the impact of analytics and AI.
  • Share findings and opinions within SAS and externally via blogs and webinars.
  • Drive thought leadership activities including articles, whitepapers, blogs, videos, and customer story development.
  • Support regional demand generation activities in line with the overall customer journey.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable security policies and processes.

Requirements

  • Typically requires eight years of experience in Marketing, Sales, Consulting, or related function in the technology industry, preferably in product marketing.
  • Experience working in the healthcare or life sciences industry.
  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or related discipline.
  • Organizational skills for managing commitments, schedules, and deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal skills, including the ability to translate technical information into simple language.
  • Public speaking experience at physical and virtual events.
  • Ability to travel.
