About the position

Wealthfront is seeking an experienced Product Marketing Lead to spearhead the launch and growth of new Investing products. This role is pivotal in shaping a world-class Product Marketing team, focusing on customer insights, product narratives, and go-to-market strategies. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with various departments, including Product, Engineering, and Design, to create impactful financial products that prioritize customer needs over institutional interests.

Responsibilities

• Craft and execute strategies to bring new investing products to market, identifying target audiences and developing resonant positioning.
• Partner with Wealthfront's Investing Product team, consumer research, engineering, and design to create a product roadmap that addresses customer needs and business growth opportunities.
• Develop positioning, audience, and distribution strategies for new and existing products.
• Create focused briefs based on business and customer insights for creative teams to execute.
• Act as a liaison with external agencies and creative teams to ensure consistent messaging across channels.
• Stay informed about cultural trends to inform creative strategy.
• Lead business performance recaps and findings with the executive leadership team.
• Contribute to building the marketing organization's skillset and fostering a culture of excellence.

Requirements

• 5+ years in consumer product marketing, preferably with technology and/or startup experience.
• Strong storytelling abilities with excellent communication, presentation, and writing skills.
• Strategic thinker who values both creativity and marketing effectiveness.
• Ability to bring structure to ambiguity and develop actionable plans from complex objectives.
• Data-driven mindset with comfort in analysis, testing, and measurement methodologies.
• Low-ego leadership style with a focus on team success.
• Personal finance knowledge is a bonus but not required.
• Bachelor's degree or higher.
