About the position

The Senior Product Marketing Manager for Professional Services at AWS is responsible for driving awareness and adoption of the Professional Services portfolio. This role involves developing messaging and positioning that highlights the value of Professional Services offerings, conducting customer research, and collaborating with various teams to create compelling marketing content. The position requires a deep understanding of customer needs and the ability to translate insights into effective marketing strategies that resonate with target audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Drive understanding of Professional Services portfolio messaging and positioning for AWS.
  • Conduct customer research to inform marketing deliverables and influence the product roadmap.
  • Identify the target audience, buyer personas, and buyer journeys for the portfolio.
  • Collaborate with product teams to distill features and benefits of major launches into positioning and messaging.
  • Develop audience-specific messaging, marketing content, and go-to-market materials (presentations, whitepapers, infographics, customer stories, product videos, webpages, and more).
  • Develop and execute on innovative product marketing activities that reach target audiences effectively.
  • Partner with other marketing teams (e.g., campaigns, demand generation, field, and event marketing) to develop marketing launch strategies and focused marketing programs that drive product adoption and usage.
  • Work effectively across AWS with groups such as product, product marketing, sales, business development, enablement, and digital marketing to achieve joint business goals.
  • Define business metrics, measurement plan, and continuously measure and optimize your product marketing initiatives.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
  • Experience leading go-to-market for consumer software or hardware product launches
  • Experience communicating results to stakeholders.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting
  • Experience prior success in driving execution of large-scale project plans with multiple teams in support of business goals
  • Experience presenting metrics and progress to goal to senior leadership
  • Experience using any of SQL or other analytical tools for conducting data analysis
  • Experience with Professional Services.
