About the position

The Senior Product Marketing Manager for Support at AWS is responsible for driving awareness and adoption of the AWS Support portfolio. This role involves developing messaging and positioning that highlights how AWS Support offerings assist customers in achieving business outcomes through enhanced tooling, guidance, and cloud expertise. The manager will collaborate with product management to ensure a seamless user experience and will utilize customer insights to create compelling content that resonates with target audiences. This position requires a deep understanding of customer needs and effective collaboration across various teams to execute marketing strategies that drive product adoption and engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Drive understanding of AWS Support portfolio messaging and positioning for AWS.
  • Conduct customer research to inform marketing deliverables and influence the product roadmap.
  • Identify the target audience, buyer personas, and buyer journeys for the portfolio.
  • Collaborate with product teams to distill features and benefits of major launches into positioning and messaging.
  • Develop audience-specific messaging, marketing content, and go-to-market materials (presentations, whitepapers, infographics, customer stories, product videos, webpages, and more).
  • Develop and execute on innovative product marketing activities that reach target audiences effectively.
  • Partner with other marketing teams (e.g., campaigns, demand generation, field, and event marketing) to develop marketing launch strategies and focused marketing programs that drive product adoption and usage.
  • Work effectively across AWS with groups such as product, product marketing, sales, business development, enablement, and digital marketing to achieve joint business goals.
  • Define business metrics, measurement plan, and continuously measure and optimize your product marketing initiatives.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
  • Experience leading go-to-market for consumer software or hardware product launches
  • Experience communicating results to stakeholders.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting
  • Experience prior success in driving execution of large-scale project plans with multiple teams in support of business goals
  • Experience presenting metrics and progress to goal to senior leadership
  • Experience using any of SQL or other analytical tools for conducting data analysis
  • Experience with Customer Support.
