About the position

FUJIFILM Healthcare Americas Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Sr. Product/Marketing Manager for the Surgical Endoscopy product portfolio. This role is pivotal in managing the commercialization of products within this portfolio, requiring a collaborative approach across various departments and external stakeholders, including Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs). The incumbent will be responsible for executing company initiatives and managing all aspects of product commercialization, ensuring alignment with the evolving needs of healthcare professionals and the market. The position demands a sense of urgency and the ability to adapt to changing priorities within the division. The Sr. Product/Marketing Manager will build and maintain strong relationships with KOLs, engaging in activities such as presentations, site visits, and attendance at industry shows and conferences. This role will also involve working closely with global marketing teams to identify KOLs who can provide valuable feedback on product development and market trends. The incumbent will play a central role in providing clinical, technical, and market knowledge, supporting sales demonstrations, and developing strategic plans for the Surgical Endoscopy platform. This includes creating commercialization plans, marketing strategies, financial forecasts, and supply chain plans to enhance market share and adoption of Fujifilm's products. Additionally, the role requires collaboration with R&D and marketing personnel to share best practices and drive product improvements. The Sr. Product/Marketing Manager will lead the commercialization activities for new products throughout their lifecycle, from pre-release preparation to post-launch evaluations. The position also involves providing technical assistance to healthcare professionals, conducting product training, and developing evaluation protocols for new products. The successful candidate will be expected to drive recognition of the clinical and economic benefits of Fujifilm technology through effective communication and strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Surgical Endoscopy product portfolio, collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) through presentations, site visits, and industry events.
  • Work with global marketing to identify KOLs for product development feedback and coordinate evaluations for new products.
  • Provide clinical, technical, and market knowledge for the product franchise, including competitor offerings and customer preferences.
  • Support sales demonstrations in collaboration with sales management and field personnel.
  • Develop and drive 3-5 year strategic plans for the Surgical Endoscopy platform, including commercialization and marketing plans.
  • Engage in future pipeline discussions with product management, R&D, and marketing teams to suggest product improvements.
  • Lead commercialization activities for new products throughout their lifecycle, including launch and post-launch support.
  • Assist in managing trade show participation and execution of events.
  • Provide technical assistance and training on product operations and requirements.
  • Develop product evaluation protocols and lead on-site evaluations for new products.
  • Create tactics to drive adoption and recognition of Fujifilm technology's clinical and economic benefits.

Requirements

  • BA/BS or equivalent degree related to healthcare or biology, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 10 years of work experience in a marketing capacity, including roles such as product manager or senior product manager.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in Surgical Endoscopy/MIS medical devices with a strong clinical background.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret job-related documents and data.
  • Ability to present effectively to internal and external customers in a multicultural environment.
  • Availability to travel frequently, including evenings and weekends, up to 70% of the time.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of general, thoracic, colorectal, bariatric surgeries, gastroenterology, and/or pulmonology related products and procedures.
  • Familiarity with the United States healthcare systems and dynamics.
