About the position

As a Sr. Product Marketing Manager at Lightmatter, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the outbound marketing strategies for our innovative products. This position requires a highly motivated and experienced individual who can effectively manage various marketing initiatives, including event planning, social media engagement, and press releases. You will be an integral part of the Lightmatter Product team, responsible for launching products to market and creating compelling messaging and collateral that resonates with our target audience. Your expertise will be crucial in leading conference and event planning efforts that align with our key business objectives. In this role, you will facilitate communication with journalists and industry thought leaders, crafting communications materials and campaigns that effectively convey our product offerings. You will engage in face-to-face meetings with influential figures in the industry, developing print and web-based materials that support our marketing campaigns. We are looking for exceptional communicators who can distill complex technology into clear, engaging content, whether through in-person discussions or well-crafted written materials such as blog posts, FAQs, and video scripts. Your responsibilities will include developing and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy that drives brand awareness through impactful campaigns and initiatives. You will define marketing and launch plans that encompass messaging, positioning, and differentiation, leading the implementation of these plans. Additionally, you will oversee the planning and execution of industry trade shows, managing project schedules and budgets while collaborating with the creative team to design and develop branded materials. Your role will also involve developing public relations campaigns and media relations strategies, authoring polished marketing content, and implementing comprehensive social media strategies to enhance our online presence.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy to create impactful campaigns, events and initiatives and drive brand awareness
  • Define marketing and launch plans that include messaging, positioning, and differentiation and lead the implementation of the plan
  • Lead in planning and execution of industry trade shows
  • Responsible for researching events and working with the creative team for design and development of branded materials and collateral
  • Develop PR campaigns and media relations strategies
  • Author and direct the building of polished marketing content, including case studies, whitepapers, presentations, blogs, and web pages
  • Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies
  • Oversee the design and execution of social media campaigns
  • Track media coverage and stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices
  • Plan for technical content for blogs, white papers, briefs, webinars, videos, and presentations
  • Edit and update promotional material and publications (brochures, videos, social media posts, PR etc.)

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 10+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry
  • 5+ years of experience in Marketing Communications, Technology Product Marketing, and Event Planning
  • Proven track record of developing and executing a successful marketing plan
  • Creative thinker with strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners
  • Stellar writing skills and experience creating long- and short-form content for B2B marketing channels
  • Relationships and experience with business and industry media outlets
  • Ability to translate complex concepts into simple and compelling communications
  • Solid experience with social media, including blogs, LinkedIn, X, etc.
  • Experience with SEO, social media, and metrics data analysis for optimization
  • Grasp of brand development and ability to develop, write, and implement strategic, integrated communications and marketing plans to promote brand
  • Ability to develop KPIs, goals, and benchmarks to drive the performance of campaigns and projects
  • Outstanding teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
  • Self-motivated, creative, high energy, resourceful, and strong attention to detail

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with optical/silicon photonic products and technology is a plus
