About the position

The Sr. Product Marketing Manager at Ascend Learning is responsible for the successful launch, adoption, and retention of products within the Health Professions and Cybersecurity portfolios. This role involves developing go-to-market strategies, creating impactful marketing communications, and collaborating with sales teams to demonstrate the effectiveness of solutions for students and educators. The position requires innovative thinking and a deep understanding of customer needs, with a focus on B2B demand generation and market analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute go-to-market plans to create awareness and demand for products.
  • Create customer-centric messaging and product positioning based on insights and market research.
  • Manage external partnerships to increase brand awareness and drive demand.
  • Communicate market needs and maintain understanding of competitors and customer journeys.
  • Collaborate with Demand Generation, Creative, and Content Marketing teams to produce customer stories and thought leadership content.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, advertising, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of marketing experience, preferably in a B2B category.
  • Experience in educational content or education technology is a strong plus.
  • Excellent people and influencing skills to interact with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Superior project management skills and ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Strong understanding of go-to-market strategies, messaging, and segmentation.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills tailored to diverse audiences.
  • Strategic thinker with analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multi-task in a high-volume, fast-paced environment without sacrificing attention to detail.
  • Experience managing project timelines and resources.
