About the position

As the Senior Product Marketing Manager at Ascend Learning, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the marketing strategies for our Healthcare Workforce Solutions. This position is designed for a dynamic individual who is passionate about product marketing and has a strong background in the healthcare sector. You will be responsible for the development and execution of comprehensive marketing campaigns that support the successful launch, adoption, and retention of our innovative solutions. Your work will directly impact the lives of students, educators, and healthcare professionals by providing them with the tools they need to succeed in their respective fields. In this role, you will lead go-to-market planning and execution, ensuring that our products are positioned effectively in the marketplace. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, technology, and sales, to create compelling product messaging and marketing collateral that resonates with our target audiences. Your ability to analyze market insights and customer needs will be crucial in developing impactful marketing plans that drive engagement and demand. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in product marketing within the healthcare space, demonstrating the ability to build customer personas and develop measurable marketing strategies. You will need to be a strategic thinker, a creative problem solver, and a collaborative team player who is willing to roll up your sleeves to get the job done. This position reports directly to the VP of Product Marketing and offers a hybrid work schedule, allowing for flexibility in your work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Own the development of marketing campaigns and strategies for Healthcare Workforce Solutions.
  • Lead go-to-market planning and execution for new product launches.
  • Develop product messaging and collaborate with sales on effective collateral.
  • Translate customer needs and product differentiation into compelling product positioning and messaging.
  • Establish KPIs, reports, and readouts for marketing campaigns and product launches.
  • Collaborate with product, technology, and sales teams to develop category strategy and project prioritization.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the marketplace, competitors, and customers to drive marketing strategy.
  • Develop and manage external partnerships to increase brand awareness and drive demand.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, advertising, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of product marketing experience, preferably in a B2B category.
  • 3+ years previous experience marketing to health systems and/or providers.
  • Experience in healthcare content or education technology is preferred.
  • Exceptional leadership and collaboration skills.
  • Superior project management skills and ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Experience building and executing go-to-market strategies and customer segmentation.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in healthcare education or training programs.
  • Familiarity with data-driven marketing techniques.
