About the position

The Sr. Product Owner will play a pivotal role in leading the development and implementation of Anaplan models and solutions that align with the business requirements of the organization. This position requires a strong understanding of Anaplan, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to identify, define, and prioritize features and functionalities that will drive the product forward. The successful candidate will manage the Anaplan product roadmap and backlog, ensuring that continuous improvement and innovation are at the forefront of the development process. In this role, the Sr. Product Owner will guide and mentor team members in Anaplan development best practices, ensuring that the integration of Anaplan solutions with other business systems and processes is seamless. The individual will also monitor and report on the performance of Anaplan solutions, providing insights and recommendations for optimization. Maintaining complete documentation of all FP&A Anaplan models is essential, as is being the point of contact for any Anaplan production issues that may arise. Additionally, the Sr. Product Owner will provide user training and support for Anaplan end users and model builders within the Finance organization. Staying engaged in Anaplan's user community is crucial to remain updated on the latest features and best practices, which will further enhance the effectiveness of the solutions implemented.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of Anaplan models and solutions in alignment with business requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, define, and prioritize features and functionalities.
• Manage the Anaplan product roadmap and backlog, ensuring continuous improvement and innovation.
• Guide and mentor team members in Anaplan development best practices.
• Ensure the integration of Anaplan solutions with other business systems and processes.
• Monitor and report on the performance of Anaplan solutions, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
• Maintain complete documentation of all FP&A Anaplan models.
• Act as the point of contact for any Anaplan production issues.
• Provide user training and support for Anaplan end users and model builders within the Finance organization.
• Remain engaged in Anaplan's user community to stay updated on Anaplan features and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Anaplan development.
• Anaplan Solution Architect certification.
• Strong background in Finance and FP&A activities and processes.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with data integration and ETL processes, including data mappings and transformation.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in managing large-scale Anaplan implementations.
• Proven track record of successful project management.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
