About the position

The Sr. EB Product Analyst serves as an expert on BenefitPoint product functionality, capabilities, utilization, and overall performance. This role includes operational oversight of the system's configurations, integrations, and supports workflow design through a technical lens, while also applying the strategies outlined in our servicing model. The Sr. EB Product Analyst serves as a resource for training, data & analytics, workflow, operations, and finance as it relates to BenefitPoint utilization and functionality. In addition, they will work closely with the Director of EB Product to identify new product availability that further enables AssuredPartners' sales and service model. In this position, the analyst will serve as a subject matter expert on BenefitPoint functionality and configuration as it relates to the end-user, including servicing, accounting, and data analytics. They will act as a liaison with training on system content needed for training delivery. The role also involves managing the upgrades and enhancement of the enterprise BenefitPoint database, which includes workflow review, system functionality, and the testing strategy, working closely with the field and IT. The Sr. EB Product Analyst will partner with the Data Analytics team and other members of the Product team on KPI reporting, both within BenefitPoint and through the AssuredPartners Datalake. They will work closely with the Director of Agency Solutions on Robotic Process Automation opportunities within the enterprise BenefitPoint database. Additionally, the analyst will manage the BenefitPoint integration error log for the enterprise BenefitPoint database and serve as a subject matter expert through system conversions, advising on source system to destination system functionality differences, and partnering with the Agency Engagement team to establish change management plans. Support for future RFP initiatives as it relates to additional product utilization within the Employee Benefits department will also be part of the responsibilities, including but not limited to, Proposal tools and Enrollment software.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years insurance retail agency experience within Employee Benefits.
  • Proficient in day to day Insurance business and workflow processes.
  • 2 years of Data conversion experience.
  • Insurance Industry Project Management experience preferred with Vendor products, Training, Application and data support experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years Vertafore BenefitPoint Agency Management System software experience.
  • Proficient in Internet software, Spreadsheet software, and Word.
  • Valid Life & Health License preferred, but not required.
  • Additional Employee Benefits designations preferred, but not required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Robotic Process Automation.
  • Familiarity with KPI reporting and data analytics.
