Responsibilities

• Utilize Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma tools to assess feasibility studies, ensure cost justification, and identify process improvements.
• Review production schedules, engineering specs, and process flows to optimize manufacturing and service methods.
• Lead efforts to reduce costs and improve efficiency through value analysis and cost-effective designs, while maintaining quality standards.
• Provide leadership across shifts, resolve problems promptly, and ensure compliance with company policies, safety, and procedures.
• Mentor team members, manage employee safety and discipline, and collaborate with departments to meet production goals.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree
• A minimum 5 yrs. supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
• Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing experience
• Team membership and leader training
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Able to develop communication and leadership skills for self-improvement as well as team improvements.
• Must have exceptional communication skills and work well with others across all disciplines.

Nice-to-haves

• Mechanical medical machining background preferred
• Certification as a Green Belt or Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma preferred
