About the position

The Sr Program Manager for Corporate Account Operations at the American Cancer Society is responsible for executing income programs and partnerships for a portfolio of corporate accounts. This role serves as a key connection point between external corporate partners, the ACS sales team, and fulfillment staff, ensuring the delivery of quality programs to maximize revenue. The position requires effective leadership and collaboration with various stakeholders to achieve revenue goals and enhance partner relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Manage implementation for a corporate partners portfolio of over $1.6 million, partnering with multiple corporate sales staff.
  • Contribute to overall area revenue goals through current partnership execution, renewals, and upsell opportunities.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact with corporate partners during revenue execution of partnerships.
  • Strategize and activate pipeline development, new sales opportunities, and stewardship planning.
  • Create and execute a yearlong stewardship plan to ensure partners understand the impact of their partnership.
  • Lead planning with external company representatives to develop effective fundraising platforms.
  • Engage creatively with partners to enhance relationships and overcome challenges.
  • Mentor new program managers and provide thought leadership on workgroups.
  • Identify and resolve barriers to successful project completion.
  • Represent the American Cancer Society effectively with representatives from various organizations.
  • Manage successful execution of program details and partnership agreements.
  • Ensure corporate program management, fulfillment completion, and customer satisfaction metrics are met.
  • Collaborate with grant writers and manage corporate grant asks as needed.
  • Drive income program participation with accounts and their employees.
  • Monitor and evaluate program success and corporate account satisfaction.
  • Escalate issues or potential risks related to programs or account relationships.
  • Support market leaders to ensure compliance with enterprise policies and goals.
  • Build strong relationships and collaborate with staff to leverage external affiliations.
  • Work with peers on approaches to meet income targets and improve processes.
  • Meet shared objectives and exchange innovative ideas and best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Preferred five years' experience in corporate programs and events for a multi-million-dollar organization.
  • Experience in program/project management and implementations.
  • Proven relationship building skills and ability to work effectively with teams.
  • Strong project planning and organization skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and support multiple account managers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
