About the position

The Senior Program Manager - Corporates at the D'Amore-McKim School of Business plays a crucial role in the Executive Education team, focusing on understanding and addressing the unique needs of large corporate clients. This position involves designing and delivering tailored educational programs that align with clients' strategic goals, managing operational functions, and ensuring high-quality service delivery. The Senior Program Manager collaborates closely with clients and internal teams to drive impactful educational solutions, while also overseeing financial tracking and contracting processes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of custom corporate programs, aligning with clients' strategic objectives.
  • Consult with clients throughout the program lifecycle, managing deliverables and ensuring smooth execution.
  • Facilitate external company visits as part of program delivery, coordinating logistics and ensuring meaningful engagements.
  • Negotiate terms with corporate clients and manage vendor relationships for efficient program delivery.
  • Proactively troubleshoot and resolve client-specific issues during preparation and delivery phases.
  • Support new business development efforts by identifying client needs and creating tailored program solutions.
  • Conduct research on prospective clients and industry trends to ensure competitive program offerings.
  • Draft proposals and create customized PowerPoint pitch decks for corporate clients.
  • Contribute to strategic planning by integrating insights from client consultations and market research.
  • Assist with operational functions, ensuring internal processes are optimized and key systems are maintained.
  • Manage internal financial workbooks and budgets, including contracting and expense tracking.
  • Collaborate with Practice leadership and program managers to facilitate cross-functional communication.
  • Lead internal meetings with faculty and leadership teams to align program content and logistics.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in consulting or corporate program development.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Expertise in consulting with corporate clients to identify needs and develop tailored executive education solutions.
  • Ability to strategically plan and operationalize short- and long-term programs.
  • Experience negotiating and executing agreements with corporate clients and external vendors.
  • Proven ability to manage deadlines and deliver under pressure in high-stakes environments.
  • Willingness to accommodate client schedules, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
  • Ability to work on-site at corporate client locations and travel as needed for program delivery.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage with high-level corporate executives.
  • Ability to interact effectively with faculty and senior university administrators.
  • Strong independent judgment and consulting mindset with proactive problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills suited to a corporate audience.
  • High proficiency with corporate software platforms and adaptability to new technologies.
  • Deep knowledge of corporate program development, including executive education and leadership training solutions.
  • Financial acumen with an interest in managing program budgets and contracts.
  • Ability to manage logistics and operations for corporate programs.
