About the position

The Sr. Program Manager, Critical Facilities Compliance at T-Mobile is responsible for overseeing enterprise-level environmental compliance across the company. This role involves managing key programs related to environmental regulations, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local requirements, and providing education and advisory services to various business lines. The position requires strong project management skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to maintain compliance across critical assets.

Responsibilities

  • Assist National Compliance Manager in coordinating and collecting compliance records and permits for operational compliance per local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Use the client's web-based tool to maintain assets, documentation, and notifications of compliance obligations.
  • Prepare and submit compliance reports to the client's regulatory and compliance group.
  • Support the client's Risk and Compliance Group in insurance, regulatory, or corporate audits.
  • Create and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for compliance metrics across different regulatory obligations.
  • Demonstrate strong collaboration and teamwork with cross-functional teams, sharing lessons learned and best practices.
  • Cultivate and maintain positive working relationships with client representatives, team members, and service providers.
  • Proactively research compliance needs to resolve gaps or issues.
  • Deliver compliance regulatory expertise on equipment assets to support ongoing strategic efforts.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for line of business questions and provide timely feedback and problem resolution.
  • Determine root causes and develop program changes to prevent recurrence of issues.
  • Collaborate with Compliance team leadership to develop and deploy training and awareness programs, evaluating their effectiveness.
  • Identify new projects and work streams, defining project scope and objectives.
  • Conduct periodic audits of compliance data associated with facility assets and requirements.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a corporate environmental, health & safety role or equivalent work experience in environmental science, compliance management, or related field.
  • Minimum of two years of industry experience in a corporate environment, third-party service provider, or as a consultant.
  • Strong organizational, research, and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to research and understand Environmental Regulatory codes applicable to critical datacenter environments.

  • Wireless industry experience.
