About the position

The Sr. Program Manager for Delivery Packaging at Amazon will lead strategic, cross-functional operations and technology projects aimed at enhancing the Sub-Same Day (SSD) program. This role requires a strong background in fulfillment operations, project management, and the ability to innovate and disrupt existing processes to improve efficiency and customer experience. The manager will be responsible for scoping large projects, managing timelines, and communicating effectively with senior management and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Drive innovation that improves under-the-roof processes and reduces costs in the fulfillment and delivery network.
• Influence the end-to-end fulfillment process focusing on quality and cost.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to plan, organize, execute, and standardize complex projects to meet 2024 variable cost and quality goals.
• Gather and analyze data across fulfillment and delivery functions to establish global operational standards.
• Analyze and solve operational barriers by understanding root causes and identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Develop best practices for internal operations at Amazon.
• Leverage analytics to support the future state of the business.
• Understand operational processes and the financial tradeoffs associated with implementing changes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 4+ years of program or project management experience
• Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
• Experience owning program strategy and end-to-end delivery
• 2+ years of experience driving process improvements

Nice-to-haves

• Master's degree or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
