About the position

The Sr Program Manager, Employee & Organizational Performance at PagerDuty is a key role within the People Development team, focusing on enhancing employee performance and organizational effectiveness. This position involves leading the performance management and talent planning strategy, designing and executing integrated talent strategies, and fostering a culture of high performance and internal mobility. The role is pivotal in building a strong leadership pipeline and ensuring measurable impact in a high-growth tech environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end Performance Experience at PagerDuty (PE@PD) program to empower employees to reach their full potential.
  • Build a comprehensive approach to ongoing talent reviews to develop and retain employees while strengthening the leadership pipeline.
  • Own the organization's competency model and framework, and design and execute career development plans.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition and HRBPs to increase internal mobility opportunities.
  • Incorporate blended learning and adult learning principles into learning design.
  • Develop and maintain a library of engaging and effective performance management and talent planning resources.
  • Develop and implement change management strategies to drive effective adoption of new processes.
  • Draft performance management program communications tailored to various audiences.
  • Regularly analyze and report on program outcomes and impact.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in talent development, performance management, L&D or related HR role.
  • 5+ years of experience in a program management role within a People/HR team.
  • Proven track record of designing and delivering strategic talent planning programs in fast-paced environments.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience managing Workday performance and talent modules.
  • Experience with agile methodology and design thinking.
  • Experience with project management software such as Asana or Monday.com.
  • Coaching certification from ICF, or another accredited organization.
  • Proficiency designing and developing e-learning using authoring tools.
  • Experience in eLearning design theories and standards.
