About the position

The Sr Program Manager, Engineering role is a contract position focused on planning, scheduling, and executing engineering projects. Responsibilities

  • Create and update project plans and timelines.
  • Manage execution and ensure alignment on milestones.
  • Identify and manage dependencies and mitigate risks.
  • Provide clear, concise, and regular updates to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Facilitate cross-functional team meetings and act as a liaison among contributing teams.
  • Identify resource needs and allocate resources effectively.
  • Support resourcing requests and manage conflicts related to resource allocation.
  • Ensure project documentation is complete, current, and appropriately stored.
  • Create and distribute regular progress reports highlighting key achievements, risks, and next steps.
  • Identify potential risks proactively and develop mitigation strategies.

Requirements

  • Relevant Bachelor's degree and/or an advanced degree in a related field or equivalent.
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong organization and prioritization skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to recognize ambiguity and align on a decision-making framework.
  • Ability to build strong positive relationships across organizational boundaries.
  • Ability to create or enhance frameworks, standards, and processes as needed.
  • Ability to simplify processes as needed.
  • Ability to understand facts and aid in unbiased, informed decision-making.
  • Understanding the bigger context and presenting data to various levels of the organization.
