About the position

This position serves as the main point of contact responsible for the day-to-day operations of the FEP benefit programs vendor contracts, focusing on driving quality and improving health outcomes. The role involves managing the implementation of tactical programs/products to enhance BCBSA-based initiatives and advance the core objectives of FEP. The individual will be responsible for data gathering, reporting, and maintaining contract compliance while managing operational processes and vendor relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for FEP vendor contracts, overseeing day-to-day operations.
  • Manage operational processes, issue resolution, and audit processes related to FEP Benefit Programs.
  • Conduct procurement-related activities and maintain contract compliance.
  • Gather and report data surrounding the FEP Benefit Programs.
  • Create executive summaries and perform data analysis and presentation construction.
  • Key contributor in the compilation and implementation of new benefit and vendor contracts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry.
  • Knowledge of vendor management and federal procurement rules and processes.
