About the position

This position is responsible for managing internal business projects and programs that involve cross-functional teams of subject matter experts. The role focuses on delivering products through the design process to completion, planning and directing schedules and project budgets, and monitoring projects from inception to delivery. The position may also involve overseeing external vendors and managing a team of program management staff.

Responsibilities

  • Manage internal business projects and programs involving cross-functional teams.
  • Plan and direct project schedules and budgets.
  • Monitor projects from inception through delivery.
  • Engage and oversee the work of external vendors as needed.
  • Assign, direct, and monitor the work of program management staff.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert to Program Managers in functional areas.
  • Communicate and collaborate with customers to analyze and transform needs into functional requirements.
  • Work with operational leaders to identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Create business requirements documents, test plans, and user training materials.
  • Develop, define, and execute plans, schedules, and deliverables.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 7-9 years of relevant experience in project/program management.
  • PMP Certification (and/or comparable coursework).

Nice-to-haves

  • Graduate Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in project/program management.
  • Six Sigma Black Belt Certification.
  • ITIL Certification.
