About the position

The Data Program Manager at Atlassian will drive the program strategy for data initiatives within the Talent Acquisition (TA) team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. This role focuses on leveraging data analytics to enhance performance insights, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring that TA delivery teams have access to necessary data for effective execution. The ideal candidate will be passionate about data, committed to delivery excellence, and knowledgeable about data management best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the program strategy for data initiatives, ensuring alignment with TA goals and objectives.
  • Leverage experience in advanced analytics and data visualization to enhance understanding of TA performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and engineers to drive data initiatives.
  • Ensure TA delivery teams have access to the data they need and drive enablement in reporting usage.
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in analytics tools and methodologies.
  • Analyze and report on program and performance outcomes using industry standard approaches.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in analytics focused roles, ideally in TA/HR/People organizations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Experience in analytics and project management or program management, with a proven track record of using project management methodologies and tools.
  • Proficiency in analytics tools and software (e.g., SQL, Excel, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
  • Knowledge of data management, data governance, and data analytics best practices.
  • Experience in the global technology industry is preferred, ideally supporting an organization of 5K+ employees.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Agile, Scrum, or PMP methodologies.
  • Familiarity with benchmarking and continuous improvement practices.
