About the position

The position at HNTB involves managing and delivering end-to-end Program Management Consultant (PMC) services for key clients, particularly for complex programs valued at over $1 billion. The role requires acting as the client's agent, resolving significant financial issues, and identifying opportunities to enhance HNTB's presence in the PMC space. The successful candidate will lead a team, interact with high-level officials, and ensure the effective delivery of services while maintaining a strong connection to the firm's culture and resources.

Responsibilities

• Act as the client's agent in delivering complex PMC services.
• Resolve difficult issues of significant financial impact.
• Identify opportunities to advance HNTB's presence and revenue in the PMC space.
• Represent HNTB with state and national industry organizations.
• Interact with executive level government or public officials on advanced program matters.
• Define staffing needs for service delivery and provide direction to Project Managers and other staff.
• Lead the development of client service action plans and project reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
• 15 years of relevant experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
• 10 years of experience in program management or senior PMC roles.
• Experience managing or leading a team in successful delivery of PMC projects.
• Alternative project delivery experience.
• PE Rail/Transit Experience.
• Ability to travel or relocate.
