About the position

The Sr. Program Manager at NTT DATA is responsible for developing processes and structures to enhance prioritization and visibility of strategic initiatives within the McKesson Medical Surgical Organization. This role involves leading and facilitating key projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, and maintaining high levels of internal customer satisfaction. The Program Manager will oversee eCommerce platform operations and product transformation initiatives, driving collaboration across various departments to achieve desired outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Work across the MMS organization and support functions to prioritize, track progress, identify risks, and communicate updates of all projects within the program.
  • Own large, cross-functional e-commerce portal initiatives and help define incremental breakdown of the work for implementation and value delivery.
  • Drive initiatives within the e-commerce transformation, applying best practices to improve delivery velocity, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure milestones for initiatives are on track and measure against articulated value at the end of each delivery cycle.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for initiatives, ensuring business value delivery as defined in the business case.
  • Support Portfolio Managers and Business Owners in structuring their Business Case and MVP or Feature Definition.
  • Enable Product and Release Roadmap creation in collaboration with various stakeholders.
  • Schedule, drive, and facilitate key project discussions and updates with a structured agenda.
  • Manage and drive follow-ups to completion for key initiatives to achieve program goals.
  • Plan and execute internal meetings and events.
  • Lead through issues and roadblocks while managing program/project risks.
  • Act as a change agent and Program/Project Management evangelist, promoting structured project management frameworks and tools.
  • Build and develop internal customer relationships.
  • Adapt delivery approach to effectively support the team and stakeholders.
  • Communicate actively with customer leadership, project sponsors, key stakeholders, and project teams.

Requirements

  • 7-10 years of experience in large, global organizations in cross-functional roles, specifically in e-Commerce and Portal Technologies in a healthcare provider setting.
  • Experience managing programs related to deployment of Salesforce Communities.
  • Knowledge of AI/Client automation implementation for Customer Care Services with Salesforce.
  • Technical acumen to understand architecture/solution design and integrating Salesforce with e-Commerce Systems.
  • Experience developing next-generation program/project management tools and methodologies for effective Delivery Management and KPIs specific to program management.
  • Deep experience with SDLC and Product Development Lifecycle.
  • Understanding of Agile, SAFe, and Bi-Modal Delivery Structures.
  • Proven leadership capability to run large program delivery spanning multiple organizations and stakeholders.
  • Experience with conflict resolution and working with executive management in prioritization and negotiation in a matrix organization.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Technical, or Healthcare Related field.
  • Strong ability to communicate and influence.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized.
  • Ability to work well in a team-centered environment as well as independently.
  • Experience in healthcare is a must.
  • PMP Certification is a plus.
