About the position

The Sr. Program Manager at AriensCo is responsible for guiding and overseeing multiple product development programs across various departments. This role ensures that all work aligns with the company's goals and vision, focusing on completing programs on time, within budget, and within scope. The position involves engaging with functional teams, mentoring junior program managers, and effectively communicating with stakeholders to drive program success.

Responsibilities

  • Engage, train, coach, and mentor the functional teams on the AriensCo Product Development Process
  • Support the development and implementation of Program Department strategy including policies, principles, tools, and best practices
  • Support and mentor junior program managers
  • Lead and manage multiple product development programs
  • Identify program stakeholders and keep them up-to-date and engaged
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure program goals are clearly understood by functional teams
  • Effectively communicate program expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely manner
  • Coordinate the creation of functional plans for each department
  • Develop program plans including scope, deliverables, required resources, budget, and schedule
  • Drive team commitment and accountability to program and functional plans
  • Coordinate, resolve, or assist in resolution of conflicts and issues within and between functional teams
  • Develop and deliver progress reports, gate review, change requests, and other applicable documents
  • Conduct lessons learned reports and communicate recommendations for process improvements
  • Serve as liaison with industry and various groups to disseminate appropriate information

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Business or related technical field from a four-year accredited school
  • Minimum 7 years experience directly related to the performance of the duties outlined
  • PMP Certification preferred
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment within the outdoor power/off-highway equipment industry
