The Sr Project Coordinator - Credentialing position is responsible for managing large, complex projects with high risk, including developing and maintaining project plans, issues logs, and status reports within the Credentialing department. This role involves managing projects from inception through their life cycle, leading and/or participating in project meetings and workgroups, and managing multiple projects while resolving issues as they arise. The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate strong leadership and organizational skills, ensuring that all project milestones are met and that communication remains clear and effective throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Manage large, complex projects with high risk within Credentialing.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, issues logs, and status reports.
  • Lead and/or participate in project meetings and workgroups.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and resolve issues as they arise.
  • Ensure clear communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree and 3 years of business, training or project management experience OR 7 years of business, training, or project management experience.
  • Experience defining business requirements for new systems or changes to existing systems and processes.
  • Experience leading an assigned phase of a large-scale project or leading all phases of a small or medium project.
  • Experience facilitating groups and delivering presentations.
  • Knowledge of operational areas in a health care environment.
  • Knowledge of various corporate systems applications.
  • Clear and concise interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • PC experience to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in technical training including SQL and Power BI.
  • Knowledge of NCQA/URAC/CMS accreditation standards.
  • Advanced level Excel, PPT and Access skills.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce.
  • Demonstrate a vision for the future, positive advocate for vendor partners.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to factor in risks and understand the potential impact of particular actions to internal/external customers.
