About the position

The Sr Project Coordinator, Culture Engagement will play a pivotal role in supporting and coordinating various culture-related initiatives and projects within Freedom Mortgage. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture. The successful candidate will possess strong organizational and communication skills, which are essential for the effective execution of the role. The Sr Project Coordinator will be assigned to a specific business channel and will be responsible for supporting day-to-day operations, promoting culture initiatives, driving strategy, and performing basic administrative tasks. This role requires a deep commitment to enhancing workplace culture, strong project management skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. In this role, the individual will assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of culture-related projects and initiatives, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. The coordinator will collaborate with stakeholders from different departments to gather requirements, define project scope, and establish timelines. Actively promoting and advocating for culture initiatives, programs, and events will be a key responsibility, aimed at fostering a positive work environment and enhancing employee engagement. The coordinator will work closely with HR and other stakeholders to ensure that culture initiatives align with organizational goals and values. Additionally, the Sr Project Coordinator will coordinate logistics for culture events, including venue selection, catering, equipment setup, and attendee management. They will assist in developing event agendas, presentations, and promotional materials. Supporting the implementation of employee engagement programs, such as recognition initiatives, team-building activities, and wellness programs, will also be part of the role. The coordinator will collect feedback and evaluate the effectiveness of these engagement initiatives, ensuring continuous improvement in workplace culture. Communication is vital, and the coordinator will assist in developing and distributing internal communications related to culture initiatives, events, and programs, promoting these initiatives through various channels such as email, intranet, social media, and posters. Regular and punctual attendance is required, and the individual must be within commutable distance to a Freedom Mortgage office location. If supporting the Call Center production channel, the coordinator must be able to work in the office a minimum of two days per week to align with sales in-office days.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Communications, or a related field preferred.
  • 2-5 years of previous experience in project coordination, event planning, or organizational culture preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to driving change and improvement.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality of work.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools/software.
  • Enthusiastic about promoting a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
