About the position

The Senior Project Coordinator position is a critical role within our organization, focusing on providing comprehensive project management services specifically in the realm of IT infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project schedules, identifying potential risks, and effectively communicating these risks to all relevant stakeholders. This role requires a deep understanding of infrastructure deployment procedures, necessitating close collaboration with Technical Project Managers (TPMs), Program Managers (PgMs), and Planners to ensure that projects are executed smoothly and efficiently. In this position, you will be tasked with reporting project analysis through various means, including dashboards, reports, and presentations. Gathering usability feedback from peers and stakeholders is essential to refine processes and improve project outcomes. As new issues arise, you will be responsible for revising documentation accordingly, ensuring that all project-related documents, such as Statements of Work (SOWs), are created and updated accurately. You will also be involved in material forecasting on a quarterly and annual basis, which is crucial for resource planning and allocation. The role demands a proactive approach to project management, including the maintenance of documentation for design and development work, bug triage, and the updating of workflows and dashboards. You will coordinate projects using the tools utilized by the client and prepare monthly reports that provide updates on construction and migration schedules for various infrastructure-managed programs. Your ability to communicate effectively, present information clearly, and engage stakeholders will be vital to your success in this role. Additionally, you will manage technology programs, defining milestones and success criteria, and ensuring successful on-time delivery. This includes developing tools and processes to enhance software engineering productivity, prioritizing and defining features in collaboration with Engineering and Product Managers, and removing roadblocks to keep processes running smoothly. Your responsibilities will also encompass resource planning, task allocation, and monitoring to ensure that release schedules are met, all while maintaining a focus on quality and thorough testing of new features.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Project Management services
  • Manage project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders
  • Study Infrastructure deployment procedures and discuss with TPMs/PgM/Planners
  • Report project analysis using dashboards, reports, and decks
  • Gather usability feedback from peers and stakeholders
  • Revise documents as new issues arise
  • Create/update SOW documents for campus infrastructure projects
  • Create SOW & Netex from templates
  • Create SOW folders, links and prep the SOWs and Netex documents with project information
  • Create Material Forecasting documents on quarterly and annual basis
  • Update workflows/dashboards and assign bugs as needed to Infrastructure TPMs
  • Coordinate projects in tools used by client
  • Prepare Monthly Reports that contain updates and reports on construction and migration schedules for numerous infrastructure-managed programs
  • Maintenance of documentation for any design and development work
  • Bug triage of incoming bugs
  • Maintain, update, and analyze reports and metrics
  • Manage technology programs, defining milestones and success criteria, resource allocation and successful on-time delivery
  • Develop tools and processes to improve software engineering productivity
  • Communicate schedules, priorities, and status to all relevant stakeholders
  • Work closely with Engineering and Product Managers to prioritize and define features and remove roadblocks
  • Process management includes bug submission, tracking, and reporting to client
  • Feature request triage of incoming feature requests
  • Manage projects, including resource planning, task allocation and planning, monitoring binary qualification and ensuring release schedules are met
  • Implementing features per business or product requirement, or engineering design documentation
  • Adding test cases for every new or changed function
  • Conducting end-to-end testing in test environment to meet test scenarios
  • Completing functional test coverage

Requirements

  • 3-6 years of Project Management experience
  • IT Infrastructure exposure/experience is mandatory
  • Good communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Self-driven, process-oriented approach
