About the position

The Sr Project Manager (Claims / Configuration) is responsible for managing internal business projects and programs involving cross-functional teams. This role focuses on delivering products through the design process to completion, overseeing project schedules and budgets, and ensuring efficient team performance. The position may also involve engaging with external vendors and directing system analysis and program staff.

Responsibilities

  • Manage internal business projects and programs involving cross-functional teams.
  • Plan and direct project schedules and budgets.
  • Monitor projects from inception through delivery.
  • Engage and oversee the work of external vendors as needed.
  • Assign, direct, and monitor system analysis and program staff.
  • Outline project goals and develop modes of assessment.
  • Ensure all project activities remain on schedule and within budget.
  • Meet with executives and business owners to determine project time frames and goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Graduate Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 7-9 years of relevant experience.
  • PMP or Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
