About the position
The Sr Project Manager, Cloud Security at Odyssey Information Services is responsible for providing service delivery support to scrum teams, managing project progress, and ensuring effective communication between teams and stakeholders. This role involves prioritizing project backlogs, advising leadership on project status, and removing impediments to facilitate project delivery. The position requires strong leadership and organizational skills to manage multiple projects effectively.
Responsibilities
- Provide service delivery support to scrum teams and manage progress, status, risks, etc. against the roadmap.
- Prioritize the backlog and help in delivering the team's commitments to the finish line while accurately reporting status.
- Act as the liaison between the Scrum/factory teams and primary stakeholders.
- Advise leadership of status, identifying risks/issues in a timely manner and highlighting relevant accomplishments.
- Help in removing impediments for the teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a similar related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of experience managing IT projects, including end-to-end experience for medium-to-large projects and programs.
- Experience in managing the planning, designing, implementation, and sustainment of project delivery programs.
- Capability to take complex security concepts and present the ideas (and benefits) to non-technical management in an impactful qualitative and quantitative way.
- Ability to work with numerous parallel projects, sometimes under restrictive timelines.
- Exceptional leadership, time management, facilitation, and organizational skills.
- Outstanding attention to detail combined with the ability to see the big picture.
- Clear effective verbal and written communication skills including the ability to actively listen, problem solve, and communicate effectively with both technical and business users.

- Agile Methodology certifications or relevant experience.
- PMP certifications or relevant experience.
