About the position

The Senior Project Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple high-end construction projects, specifically in the stone and tile industry. This role is crucial for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with all regulations. The position requires a blend of technical expertise, strong communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Planning and overseeing a wide range of different construction projects from beginning to end.
• Keeping track of supplies and balancing the budget.
• Collaborating with subcontractors to ensure project success.
• Ensuring all regulations are met and permits are acquired.
• Overseeing RFPs and the contracting process for architects, engineers, contractors, and other project consultants.
• Effectively leveraging existing GC and supplier contacts to win work.
• Bidding and estimating projects for award.
• Tracking project schedules and monitoring progress and delays.
• Managing financial analysis to keep project-specific economic models up to date.
• Identifying potential project risks and developing mitigation strategies.
• Assisting in preparing the financial and market feasibility analysis of projects.
• Monitoring and evaluating project performance against baseline financial models and estimated procurement and installation methods.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a construction project manager, preferably in the stone/tile industry.
• Skilled in electronic construction administration software and electronic plan reading.
• Strong communication skills and a personable demeanor.
• Willingness to travel and attend job walks as necessary.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience overseeing up to $25 million in construction costs across multiple projects.
• Experience within operations and leading a division.
• High Rise Curtain Wall experience.
