About the position

The Sr. Project Manager of Cybersecurity Risk Remediation at T-Mobile USA is responsible for delivering security programs and projects that enhance the company's cybersecurity posture. This role involves developing strategies, executing remediation projects, and collaborating with various teams to identify and address security gaps. The primary objective is to analyze risks, prioritize remediation efforts, and ensure effective communication across departments to mitigate cybersecurity risks.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, identify, communicate, and delegate responsibilities to deliver high-quality results.
  • Develop strategy, roadmap, and requirements for enterprise information protection.
  • Provide security guidance and evaluations based on policies and standard processes.
  • Resolve conflicts between teams effectively.
  • Establish goals and measure deliverables through critical thinking.
  • Promote the importance of Cybersecurity across all departments.
  • Demonstrate active listening and concise communication skills.
  • Engage teams and partners to ensure collaboration and transparency on risks.
  • Build relationships with business partners for security research and remediation.
  • Deliver feedback and support development activities of team members.
  • Encourage an environment where employees are valued and respected.
  • Set high standards for self and team, ensuring project completion.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 4-7 years of industry experience as a program or product manager in a technology environment.
  • Progressive record of successful delivery of complex solutions, systems, or services.

Nice-to-haves

  • 3+ years of Cybersecurity experience.
  • 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and influence skills.
  • Group facilitation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Knowledge of information technology concepts and standards.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong knowledge of current technological trends in cybersecurity.
