About the position

One of our New Jersey clients is looking to add a Sr. Project Manager to their growing team. The Project Manager is a critical role that will be instrumental in delivering the corporate Finance Solutions & Technology (FS&T) vision and roadmap. This individual is responsible for the end-to-end project management for reporting strategy & deliverables within the Design Data Governance & Reporting (DDGR) area. This role will develop, manage, and drive the execution of project work plans; lead resource planning and manage throughout the project lifecycle; manage project scope; manage project financials, own and drive risks, actions, issues, decisions (RAID); weekly status reporting; manage integration dependencies across projects and integrated work plan milestones. This role will partner with senior stakeholders within the FS&T organization as well as across the broader Finance and IT organizations to drive execution. The position is hybrid, requiring three days onsite weekly in New Brunswick, NJ.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing and driving large complex programs & projects throughout the full project life cycle - from ideation, planning, resourcing, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure using both waterfall and agile methodologies.
  • Manage PMO activities in support of the overall program which primarily include: Project Schedule Management, Project Integration, Inter and Intra Dependency Management, Enhancement Project Status, Resource Plans & Management, Risk, Issue and Action/Decision Management (RAID), Scope & Project Change Management, Financial Management, Communications & Status, Compliance and SDLC.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree or equivalent is required.
  • Post-graduate degree preferred.
  • Professional project management certification (PMP) and/or diploma is preferred.
  • Detailed knowledge of project planning, tracking, resource management, project planning, scheduling tools, and cross-project analyses is required.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering on projects of various sizes & durations.
  • Highly adaptable to changing needs within the organization - adapts to rapidly changing priorities.
  • Strong technical aptitude - experience with finance or SAP implementations.
  • Datahub experience is required.
  • Planview experience is required.
  • SAP experience is required.
  • Industry experience is required.
  • 5+ years of Project Management of enterprise-wide implementations is required.
  • Finance and IT experience is required.
