About the position

PepsiCo is on a mission to become a best-in-class and admired company. To achieve this, the PepsiCo Global Communications team is prioritizing a number of initiatives to ensure we are delivering on that vision, both in our work with our colleagues in the business and in how we operate as a team. To support this, we're looking for a Senior Communications Project Manager to play a pivotal role in bringing this to life. This role will report to the Senior Director of Global Communications Operations and requires a unique blend of strategic thinking, project management skills and strong interpersonal abilities. The ideal candidate will have significant communications experience within a large multi-faceted organization.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and ensure the successful delivery of projects that support the PepsiCo Global Communications strategy.
  • Develop and implement project plans that align with the communications strategy, focusing on priority Global Communications Operations initiatives.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure project deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
  • Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Manage resources effectively, including budget and technology.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required (Communications or relevant degree preferred)
  • 8+ years of experience in communications, marketing or PR, preferably with CPG / functional communications.
  • Proven experience in project management, preferably in a communications or marketing role.
  • Excellent communication, writing interpersonal abilities, capable of articulating complex topics and translating to plain language, often under tight deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment.
