About the position

The Sr. Project Manager role is a long-term contract position based in Austin, TX, requiring extensive experience in project management, particularly in software application teams. The position involves overseeing the rollout of new multi-stakeholder software and managing various project delivery tasks using established methodologies such as Agile and SDLC.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the implementation of new multi-stakeholder software projects.
• Manage software application teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Utilize Agile Scrum methodology and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for project management.
• Plan and accomplish project goals relying on experience and judgment.
• Coordinate with multiple stakeholders to ensure project success.

Requirements

• 12 years of experience in project management with standard concepts and practices.
• 10 years of experience performing and implementing complicated tasks.
• 8 years of experience as a project manager for software rollouts.
• 8 years of experience managing software application teams using SDLC and PMLC.
• 5 years of broad-based information systems and project delivery experience.

Nice-to-haves

• 1 year of experience managing major Information Resources projects using the Texas Project Delivery Framework.
• Certification in Project Management (PMP).
