About the position

The Senior Project Manager at ADP will lead project teams to implement Human Capital Management (HCM) projects, ensuring that client goals are met through effective planning, organization, and resource management. This role emphasizes client success, collaboration, and agility, requiring strong communication and problem-solving skills to drive results. The position is dynamic, with varying daily challenges and a focus on building relationships and trust with clients and team members.

Responsibilities

  • Manage large project teams responsible for planning, coordination, and implementation of projects.
  • Develop strong partnerships and working relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Identify cross-functional resources critical to project objectives and build collaborative teams.
  • Lead and influence initiatives to provide strategic insights for efficient execution of project deliverables.
  • Provide analysis and status reports of the project, including business case and ROI.
  • Assess, manage, resolve, and escalate risks and issues as necessary.
  • Champion best practices and process improvement for exceptional client implementation experiences.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of project management experience and/or continuous improvement experience.
  • Experience leading medium to large cross-functional and/or multi-year projects from concept to delivery.
  • Broad knowledge of project management processes, tools, and structured methodologies.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple and changing priorities with flexibility and adaptability.
  • Demonstrated learning agility and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Initiative to seek out answers, solutions, and positive outcomes.
  • Process-oriented with high attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience with Financial Force, Anaplan, Confluence, or similar tools.
  • Experience in the Human Capital Management (HCM) Industry or knowledge of payroll.
  • PMP, PHR, SHRM-SCP, CCP, CBP, HCS, or similar certifications.
