Responsibilities

  • Focus on process improvement and organizational change management.
  • Manage project management activities including estimating, scheduling, costing, planning, and issue/risk management.
  • Organize complex projects into manageable work plans and estimate staffing requirements.
  • Develop detailed project plans, communication plans, schedules, role definitions, and risk management strategies.
  • Proactively assess projects for potential problem areas and develop solutions to complex issues.
  • Evaluate processes, procedures, and tools to increase efficiency across projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 1 PM course required.
  • 4-7 years of relevant work experience in business, engineering, or a related field (in lieu of degree acceptable).
  • Expert knowledge of project management methods and techniques.
  • Complete mastery of standard applications and project-specific software.

Nice-to-haves

  • Additional formal training in project management preferred.
  • PMP or Six Sigma Green Belt Certification desired.
