About the position

The position involves leading projects to support the Senior Vice President of Public Affairs and departmental strategies across government advocacy teams. The role focuses on developing project plans, timelines, and status updates, while driving the development of processes for strategic initiatives and critical projects. It requires collaboration with diverse teams and managing multiple events and projects to ensure successful execution of strategies related to government advocacy, communications, and community health investment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead projects to support the SVP Public Affairs and departmental strategies across government advocacy teams.
  • Identify specific plan deliverables and strategies, milestones, and required tasks needed for individual project success.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and status updates.
  • Drive dashboard development and maintain standards and templates.
  • Provide timely, relevant updates to varying audiences.
  • Develop annual and multi-year departmental priorities with the SVP of Public Affairs and manage execution of strategies.
  • Drive development of processes for strategic initiatives and critical projects by structuring complex activities into phased workstreams and deliverables.
  • Direct appropriate governance cadence and successful initiative tracking system to ensure project goals and objectives are achieved.
  • Take a leadership role in developing/improving standardized processes for managing, analyzing, reporting, tracking, and communicating through projects.
  • Recommend actions and exercise discretion regarding key business processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, or Advertising or related fields.
  • More than 4 years of hands-on Marketing and Communication experience.
  • Proven experience directly related to duties and responsibilities specified.
  • Experience working with diverse teams, managing multiple events and projects.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree in above discipline.
  • Experience in healthcare marketing leadership.
  • Public speaking experience.
