About the position

The Sr. Project Manager / Sr. Engineer will play a crucial role in Ardurra's Water Practice, focusing on managing and executing water and wastewater projects for Cities and Water/Sanitation Districts. This position requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project management and engineering, particularly in the areas of pipeline, pump station, reservoir, and well projects. The role involves planning, scheduling, and overseeing project milestones, budgets, and activities, while also engaging in business development and collaboration with other leaders in the organization.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Project Manager on various water/wastewater projects including pipelines, pump stations, and reservoirs.
• Plan, schedule, and track milestones, budgets, tasks, and activities.
• Prepare or oversee the production of Preliminary Design Reports, Technical Memoranda Studies, and related documents.
• Attend meetings to discuss project progress and results.
• Actively manage assigned projects and ensure they are completed on time and within budget.
• Perform business development activities and coordinate with other leaders in the Western Water and Public Works Practices.

Requirements

• 10+ years of water/wastewater planning and design experience with public works projects including treatment plants, pipelines, pump stations, and reservoirs.
• State of Nevada PE license is required or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire date.
• Bachelor's degree in civil, Environmental, or related Engineering from an ABET accredited university or equivalent.
• Excellent technical writing skills for the development of studies, engineering reports, and related technical documents.
• Ability to work efficiently within a predetermined project budget and schedule.
