About the position

The Sr Project Manager will lead cross-functional and departmental strategic initiatives throughout the project lifecycle, focusing on planning, execution, and delivery of business projects. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to develop project charters, managing multiple projects, and ensuring value delivery and long-term sustainability. The Sr Project Manager will also provide guidance to other project managers and assist with overall portfolio management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the work of a team to achieve specific project goals and criteria within project constraints.
• Assist the business with development of project charter including scope, budget, deliverables and milestones.
• Work collaboratively with business partners, sponsors, project leads, and IT partners to manage all phases of the project lifecycle.
• Manage scope to ensure commitments are achieved within agreed time, cost, and quality parameters.
• Proactively manage changes in scope and identify potential risks with corresponding contingencies.
• Facilitate the development and management of project budget and financial impact forecasts.
• Develop communication plans to meet project objectives and ensure stakeholder awareness.
• Publish periodic project status and progress reports, proposals, and requirements documentation.
• Leverage cross-functional relationships for successful project completion.
• Manage large-scale projects with significant budgets and complex dependencies.
• Leverage best practices and innovative techniques in project management.
• Manage time effectively to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Collaborate with PMO team to improve project management methodology and train other project managers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 3-5 years of project management experience with cross-functional team projects
• PMP certification and agile experience
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
• Experience with Azure DevOps and MS Schedule (or equivalent)
