About the position

The Senior Project Manager at OpTech will oversee the migration of loan populations to a new platform and division, ensuring compliance and proper business processes are established. This role involves managing multiple projects within the financial services sector, utilizing both Waterfall and Agile methodologies, and requires strong communication and organizational skills to navigate cross-functional processes effectively.

Responsibilities

• Manage the migration of loan populations to a new platform and division.
• Ensure business processes are set up and compliant with regulations.
• Review and update all procedures and establish new governance.
• Create and maintain project plans and schedules using tools like MS Project and Excel.
• Support 2-4 projects simultaneously, ensuring successful implementation and testing of technology.
• Conduct weekly project calls and status updates, documenting key project resources and requirements.
• Navigate cross-functional processes across 4-5 impact business areas.

Requirements

• Proven experience in financial services project management.
• Experience with IT or process implementation, automation, and technology optimization.
• Familiarity with both Waterfall and Agile project management methodologies.
• Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, Monday.com, and Excel.
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage large groups effectively.
