About the position

The Sr. Public Relations Specialist at Otter Products will lead and support earned media efforts, focusing on public relations strategy, reporting, and tracking. This role involves fostering relationships with key stakeholders and providing guidance for internal and corporate communications. The position can be hybrid or fully remote within the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy, content development, and execution for OtterBox consumer PR efforts, including media relations, event support, corporate communications, and community relations.
• Support earned media strategy by participating in media outreach and providing input into the development of press releases and media kits.
• Work directly with PR agency to identify and execute on coverage opportunities.
• Collaborate with other marketing teams to deliver a cohesive go-to-market strategy for new product launches and brand moments.
• Lead earned media reporting and tracking efforts, including monthly reporting and dashboard maintenance using media tracking tools.
• Maintain relationships with local, regional, and national media and assist in reporting and analysis of earned media KPIs.
• Act as community relations liaison for Otter Products, providing tours, responding to community inquiries, and attending events.
• Develop statements and provide support for corporate communications efforts.
• Support and maintain a positive safety culture by following all safety policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in marketing, communications, or business.
• Minimum of five years of PR and/or marketing communications experience required.
• Consumer brand marketing, product marketing, and/or marketing project management experience preferred.
