About the position
The Sr. Pump Mechanic at Proflow is responsible for maintaining and repairing industrial production and processing machinery, specifically focusing on mission-critical industrial rotating equipment. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, ensuring that all equipment is functioning optimally and adhering to safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Repair, install, and evaluate mission-critical industrial rotating equipment
- Disassemble, inspect and repair defective equipment
- Perform routine preventative maintenance
- Respond to work order requests in a timely fashion
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
Requirements
- Previous experience with industrial rotating equipment and related systems
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Familiarity with industrial tools and equipment
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Able to perform individually or with a team with or without direct supervision
- Ability to direct or lead a team of skilled workers
