About the position

The GCP Cloud Developer will be a key member of the Eligibility team at CVS Health, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-based applications on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This role emphasizes the importance of human-centric health care and aims to innovate and deliver solutions that make health care more personal, convenient, and affordable.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based Eligibility applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Utilize Python, Spark, DataProc, and Data Lake technologies to build scalable and efficient ETL Solutions
• Implement DevOps practices using Circle CI and Harness for continuous integration and deployment
• Develop REST APIs using Spring framework for seamless communication between applications
• Utilize MongoDB for data storage and retrieval, optimizing performance and scalability

Requirements

• 5-6 years of experience in cloud development (prefer GCP)
• Strong proficiency and experience in Python and Java development
• Proficiency in Spark, DataProc, and Data Lake technologies
• Strong experience in DevOps practices using Circle CI and Harness
• Experience in REST API development with Spring framework
• Knowledge of MongoDB for data management
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
