About the position

The Sr Python Full Stack Developer will lead development efforts to create an application that streamlines the design and maintenance of hosting solutions. This role involves integrating with product catalogs and configuration management solutions, as well as working closely with a team of developers to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Strong knowledge of REST APIs and experience in designing, implementing, and consuming them.
  • Solid programming skills with the ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
  • Familiarity with full-stack development principles and the ability to work with front-end and back-end technologies as required.
  • Solid understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC) concepts and best practices.
  • Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management.
  • Experience with SQL and database design concepts.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile development teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team.

Requirements

  • Strong expertise and working experience in Python.
  • Knowledge of computer science data structures and algorithms.
  • Knowledge of ORM libraries like SQLAlchemy.
  • Experience in databases (relational/document/etc.) including NoSQL databases.
  • Experience building distributed and scalable complex services as well as RESTful services and robust microservices.
  • Experience with web services development and REST interfaces in Python.
  • Experience with analytic reporting tools like Tableau.
  • Analytical skills to perform technical and functional analysis with strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work with business users involving complex requirements gathering and translating them into actionable items for developers.
  • Experience working in regulatory projects is strongly desirable.
  • Experience working in containers.
  • Experience in CI/CD, Jenkins, Git.
  • Experience working on high volume applications.
  • Experience working in Agile teams.

Nice-to-haves

  • Horizon CI/CD tool knowledge.
  • Knowledge of Liquidity Reports like Fed5g, LCR, NSFR, CRD IV etc is a plus.
