About the position

Zwift is seeking a skilled Sr. QA Analyst to join their QA Team, responsible for ensuring comprehensive test coverage across the company's software products. The role involves developing test plans, creating test cases for new features, and overseeing end-to-end testing processes. The analyst will also influence future testing methods and tools, contributing to the overall quality assurance strategy.

Responsibilities

• Foster strong, communicative team spirit supporting globally full-stack development efforts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create detailed test plans and test cases based on project requirements.
• Organize and perform regression and feature testing to identify bugs in software.
• Craft detailed, reproducible, and concise bug reports.
• Help design, refine, and distribute QA reports and feedback to various stakeholders.
• Participate in technical design discussions to advocate for testability and quality.
• Continually improve test cases to ensure coverage on all Zwift software products.
• Identify, source, define, and implement useful tools and methods for process improvement, automation, and reporting.
• Physically perform testing on a resistance bicycle trainer or treadmill.

Requirements

• 4+ years working in Quality Assurance.
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience testing full-stack, client-server web applications, and native apps.
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills.
• 2+ years of recent experience using JIRA and TestRail in Agile development environments.
• Experience in API testing using tools such as Postman and SoapUI.
• Experience using developer mode in Chrome, IE, Firefox, and Safari.
• Experience in A/B Testing.
• Ability to write effective and efficient test cases based on complex systems and features.
• Deep understanding and experience in QA methodologies, tools, and practices.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with test tools such as TestCafe, Selenium, and Mocha.
• Passion for cycling, running, and/or fitness.
• Passion for video games and web technologies.
