About the position

Walker Healthforce, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Sr. QA Analyst to join our team remotely. In this role, you will be responsible for performing quality assurance (QA) analysis and testing of business software applications specifically within the healthcare and health insurance domain. Your primary duties will include reviewing and decomposing requirements based on system enhancements to create and execute test scenarios, as well as writing detailed test plans and test scripts. You will execute these test scenarios, meticulously record all test cases executed along with their actual results, and log and track any defects that arise during testing. Collaboration is key in this position, as you will work closely with client business teams, vendors, and business analysts to extract essential information necessary for designing comprehensive test strategies, test plans, test cases, test scripts, test data, and executing tests. You will analyze both business and technical requirements, providing estimates for testing timelines and contributing to project cost estimates. Additionally, you will assist in defining and documenting test strategies, ensuring that effective test plans and scenarios are designed for TriZetto Facets implementations, various databases, and other applications. Your role will also involve conducting integration testing for all interfaces with different vendors associated with the TriZetto Facets application. You will review all test deliverables and results with business stakeholders, obtaining their feedback and acceptance. Engaging with business sponsors to secure user sign-off is another critical aspect of your responsibilities. You will ensure that new system requirements, enhancements, and changes are tested and delivered in a timely manner, providing a consistent and repeatable testing process for user acceptance testing (UAT). Moreover, you will conduct impact analysis and root cause analysis for defects, continuously monitoring testing activities to improve processes and reduce post-implementation issues. Participation in project cost estimation, schedule control, and risk analysis will also be part of your duties. Regular status meetings with project teams will be conducted to discuss project progress in each phase, keeping stakeholders informed throughout the process. Familiarity with tools such as TriZetto Facets, Jira, Snowflake, SQL Server, DB2, and Oracle will be essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 3 years of experience in the job offered or 3 years in a related occupation including Test Consultant, Systems Analyst, or related experience.
  • Will accept 3 years of post-secondary education in any field of study plus 4 years of experience in lieu of the required education and experience.
  • 3 years of experience with testing activities on TriZetto Facets.
  • Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience as per the requirements cited herein.
