About the position

The Senior Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of software products through rigorous testing and validation processes. This role requires a strong focus on customer and business needs, effective communication with various stakeholders, and the ability to work collaboratively within large teams. The analyst will define test strategies, develop testing artifacts, and engage in both test-driven and behavior-driven development practices to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Define test strategy and approach for various projects.
• Develop and execute test plans and test cases based on requirements.
• Collaborate with business personnel, developers, and management during the testing phase.
• Utilize testing methodologies such as white box, black box, functional, and path testing.
• Work within multiple Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile.
• Create and maintain testing artifacts to ensure comprehensive coverage of requirements.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience as a quality assurance analyst or tester.
• Strong customer and business focus.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Understanding of Oracle RDBMS and SQL.
• Experience with test-driven or behavior-driven development practices.
• Ability to work on large teams with different business owners.
• Experience in defining test strategy and approach, as well as test cases.
• Strong experience in the testing phase with business personnel, developers, and management.
• Excellent knowledge of testing methodologies.
