About the position

The Sr. QA Analyst position focuses on performance testing, specifically utilizing JMeter for performance engineering. The role requires a strong coding background in Java and Groovy, along with experience in SQL/DB2 for data querying and creation. The individual will be responsible for developing performance test plans, analyzing performance metrics, and communicating results to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Understand the basic concepts of performance efficiency and performance testing.
• Define performance risks, goals, and requirements to meet stakeholder needs and expectations.
• Understand performance metrics and how to collect them.
• Develop a performance test plan for achieving stated goals and requirements.
• Conceptually design, implement, and execute basic performance tests.
• Analyze the results of a performance test and state implications to various stakeholders.
• Explain the process, rationale, results, and implications of performance testing to various stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with JMeter and performance testing.
• Experience with SQL/DB2, Agile, and Azure DevOps.
• Strong coding experience in Java and/or Groovy and Python.
• Good communication skills.
• Experience with Weblogic and/or OpenShift.
• Experience creating performance test plans and analyzing performance metrics.
• Familiarity with API testing, REST, Jenkins, and security testing.
