About the position

The Sr QA Automation Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automated testing solutions to ensure the quality and performance of software applications. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify testing requirements and improve testing processes, ultimately contributing to the delivery of high-quality software products.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automated test scripts for software applications.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand application functionality and testing requirements.
• Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects and performance issues.
• Maintain and enhance existing automated test frameworks and tools.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality.
• Document testing processes and results for compliance and reporting purposes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance and automation testing.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
• Experience with automation testing tools like Selenium, TestNG, or JUnit.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
