About the position

The Sr QA Automation Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of software products by developing and executing automated test cases. This position involves close collaboration with development teams to create effective testing strategies and improve testing efficiency. The role is expected to lead various testing efforts and communicate effectively with stakeholders to deliver high-quality results.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with development and platform development teams to ensure effective coverage of use cases.
• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality test cases and automation.
• Participate in design discussions to create effective test strategies.
• Diagnose problems and report bugs and enhancements.
• Develop reusable automated testing suites to improve testing efficiency.
• Lead and participate in all aspects of testing, including functional, regression, system, and stress/load/performance testing.
• Record and report on testing status/metrics.
• Execute testing on both front end and back end systems.
• Document, track, and report defects using appropriate tools.

Requirements

• 5+ years of enterprise testing experience, preferably with Java API/Junit/SoapUI testing.
• Familiarity with Linux servers and bash scripting.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Demonstrate ability to drive quality of products.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
