About the position

Join our dynamic team as a Senior QA Engineer and contribute to shaping the future of our globally renowned product suite, which includes Network Access Control, Endpoint Compliance, Mobile Control, and Intrusion Prevention solutions. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our diverse applications, which span from Client/Server to Web applications designed for Network Access Control solutions, operating across both Windows and Linux environments. This hybrid position allows for three days onsite and two days remote work, providing flexibility while you engage in meaningful work. Responsibilities

• Testing on-prem solution software suite along with third party devices including Network/Switch devices and Endpoint compliance.
• Design, develop and maintain manual and automated test suites.
• Analyze and report defects on software to improve conformance, stability, and supportability.
• Execute end-to-end testing (manual/automated), integration testing, sanity testing and creating documents, use-cases, design and other technical documents.
• Test defect fixes and new functionality as required.
• Work closely with product, development, and other quality assurance engineers on testing processes and execution.
• Translate system requirements and specs to test cases.

Requirements

• 5-7+ years of experience in Software QA and in Network and Endpoint Security.
• Experience testing network security products like firewall, intrusion prevention systems, and SIEM solutions is highly desirable.
• Experience with Cisco, Juniper, and/or HPE network devices is recommended.
• Hands-on experience with Linux, Python, SQL, and database with working knowledge of Java is a plus.
• Experience with VMware, Hyper-V, and KVM is recommended.
• Experience with automation platforms and script development is recommended.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot software and network issues logically and analytically.
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills.
• Motivated and willing to learn new technologies and eager to apply them to improve day-to-day productivity and code quality.
• Team player, experienced in working in an Agile environment is a plus, willing to learn and mentor others.
• Skilled in troubleshooting and debugging techniques.
• Good understanding of TCP/IP and knowledge in protocols (DNS, SMTP, SNMP, DHCP, 802.1x).
• Familiar with network equipment configuration (Switch, Router).
• Experience with Windows-based networks with domain management is a plus.
• Low-level network monitoring and sniffing experience.
